Looking for an unforgettable experience? Between 24 and 25 August, mudel is opening up the museum and its beautiful garden for a special overnight stay!
Load up your tent or mat, choose in advance where you wish to sleep and settle in with your friends/family/love/family for an overnight stay in a special location. There is the option to pitch your tent under the stars in the museum garden or amidst the artworks in the museum. Inside, only pitching tents can be placed or you can also choose to simply lay your mat next to a work of art (on one of the provided dark spaces).
In the evening, enjoy a drink at our cosy bar. For film lovers, a relaxing open-air film ‘The Square’ (21h15) is provided at our neighbours at Leietheater. Little ones have also been thought of, with a fun children’s film ‘Mischief in the Museum’ (6+) (7pm). The ‘Biennale of Painting 9. Master Painting’ exhibition can also be visited free of charge.
The next day, enjoy a luxury breakfast with your party. Join us at our extensive breakfast buffet, take a seat at one of our tables in the breakfast room, or take your breakfast with you and make it cosy in front of your tent with your own picnic blanket or camping chairs.
After clearing your tent, you can stay for a free crepe paper flower-making workshop. Together, we will create a beautiful field of flowers in the garden, inspired by painter Emile Claus.
Attention:
The film screening ‘The Square’ will last until midnight. So there will be noise outside until then. At 00h we will also close the bar so that everyone can enjoy his/her night’s rest in silence.
!!! When booking your tickets, it is important to indicate how many people you are booking for, how many tents you are bringing and whether you want to sleep inside or outside.
